Does it strike anybody else that some of the rules governing our notional nations are distinctly strange?
For instance, the Government Type and National Religions that we established turn out to be contrary to what is popular. Considering that we start with only a busload of supporters, it is not realistic that they could be radically different from their leaders ideas. Also the game treats them with scant respect, making unrealistic and instantaneous changes far too easy - indeed, encouraging them. It is also reasonable to suppose that as these micro-nations grow, it will be by the adherance of similar people, so there should be little chance of wild changes in ideas and institutions.
Has this already been pointed out to those who run the game? Is it worth collecting instances of such anomalies, and starting a campaign of agitation to get them changed?
